the goldilocks principle

if i had to give one piece of advice for DJ’ing: make sure your first song is the right song. get it right and everything after is way easier. now this isn’t simple advice. it can take hours to find that perfect track (sometimes days). if it’s too hard you fuck yourself, having to stay in that energy for the whole set. too soft and you won’t make an impact and it’s hard to bring it back up from there. it’s all about the goldilocks principle, getting it ‘just right.’ find what’s right for you, and trust your instincts, you’ll know it when it’s the one.

i had a blast at rose disco on sunday. 7000+ people in pink, raving in a park. i really felt the love so thank you. my parents came, i brought them onstage. major wholesome moment.

we’re doing it in toronto in a few weeks, hope to see you there!

ps: this billie eilish remix has been so fun to play, i soft-launched it on soundcloud icymi
