i finally did it

the final tour date is now sold out. my first headline show at the commodore in vancouver. it’s the biggest stop on my tour (1000 capacity). i want to play it cool but… this is such a milestone for me.

i’ve always wanted to do my own show at that venue, ever since i saw bands playing there in my teens. “i want to do that,” is how it starts, and i didn’t really know how long the journey would play out. (only took me 17 years haha.)

as an artist i think a lot about creating my own momentum, trying to over-deliver as an artist, and be mindful of how much i ask of those who follow me. the pop ups the last few years have been a culmination of that attitude, as well as twitch streaming throughout covid, and trying to make each of my albums with as much care as i’d appreciate as a listener myself.

i am grateful for everyone who bought tickets this far in advance.

i don’t always know what will work, but i want to take the time to appreciate it when things do.

thank you.
