The Pop Ups Continue

New York City pop up happens this Wednesday! Yes! 

If you live there come through! It’s free. If you don’t live there but have friends who do, send them this. Going to be a sunset party on this insane rooftop we found in Brooklyn. I can’t wait.

I really love New York City. Sometimes I feel like I want to live there. But then I wonder, would that take away the magic and excitement I get from going to the city? Do I actually just like visiting New York? I’m not really sure. I guess there’s no way to find out other than moving there, but that seems risky to chance it just to check. Especially if I got a good thing going with just visiting. Guess I’ll just keep doing that for now.

What is it about New York? There’s a few things that come to mind. One, it’s a great walking city. I love walking. I love walking to go somewhere and I love walking home after I’ve been somewhere. Walking home after dinner to digest a meal is a lost art. Try it. Two, all the food is there. Everything. Life is just wasting time in between meals and New York has it all. And best part is I can walk to it all. Three, the subway system is crucial to the city. It’s the great equalizer. I think the fact that everyone and anyone takes the subway helps the city feel connected not only literally but also on an emotional level too. You can praise or bitch about the subway and the whole city understands. That’s important.

So long story short, let the pop ups continue in one of my fav cities… New York.
