First off, I really wanted to thank everyone for the support on the release of my ‘Drone’ single yet again. All the feedback has been great, and it was the #1 downloaded track of the week on RCRDLBL. Also, to any bloggers (a nice write up at EarMilk) who supported the release, big thanks for pushing me into the top 5 blogged artists on Hypemachine. The response has been overwhelming to say the least!
In other news, I recently had the pleasure of getting in touch with Johnny Whitney of The Blood Brothers/Neon Blonde/Jaguar Love about a collaboration for my upcoming album. For those of you not familiar with his vocals, they are amazing and innovative. Shrill, confident, and unique, they really harness that punk-rock vibe I grew up on, while still sounding fresh in 2010. The aggressive but always melodic nature of his singing style is two aspects I’ve always tried to marry when creating music of my own. Being a fan of the Blood Brothers, to hear that he was into the idea was really exciting for me, and I think what we’ve come up with is something really forward thinking, while still totally accessible. I grew up listening to the, let me tell you those guys put on some of the best shows i have experience. I am a huge fan of your work i cant wait for the new track to be released. I’ve been following your music for quit a wile now the first time i saw you live was in Tijuana,Mexico at Lobby July 11,2008.
I have great respect for you music keep up the AMAZING work.
